Bartlett Maritime, Master Gage & Tool Co. Announce Collaboration
Bartlett Maritime Corporation and Master Gage & Tool Co. will work together to build capacity in the nation’s submarine industrial base, the companies announced today.
“MG&T provides precision metrology products, specialty tooling, along with calibration and custom inspection services to support manufacturers, including those in the shipbuilding and ship maintenance industry” said Edward L. Bartlett, Jr., Bartlett Maritime Corporation’s founder and chief executive officer. “As Bartlett Maritime grows our capability to repair submarine components, having MG&T as a strategic supplier will help us ensure the quality and precision that our Sailors depend upon.”
MG&T, a women-owned business, draws on more than 35 years of experience providing precision manufacturing support in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

The agreement between BMC and MG&T includes supply of metrology equipment and services to include precision gaging, tooling, capital equipment, portable coordinate measurement, custom inspection and calibration services.
