Position Overview
The Facility Security Manager will develop and implement security protocols, plans and procedures to ensure the safety and protection of our company’s assets, employees, and guests. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of security, with a focus on facilities and IT. They will oversee procuring security clearances and IT security compliance with federal law. The Facility Security Manager will assess and identify potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks in IT and facilities. Facility Security Manager will report to the President & COO and will manage a direct report. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management, excellent problem-solving skills and prior experience with IT security and facilities setup. They will also be familiar with security technologies and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
Procure and manage government security clearances
Implement and maintain IT security protocol to comply with GCC high standards
Set up new facilities for office and fabrication use
Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
Attend meetings and report to executive team to determine operational needs
Maintain and document security compliance with all applicable laws
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
Review reports on incidents and breaches
Create reports for management on security status
Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new
technology)
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in security management or related field
5+ years proven experience as security manager with facilities and IT clearances
Experience using relevant technology and equipment
Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
Working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to pass judgement and make decisions
Ability to preemptively see weaknesses in security and defend accordingly
Some travel may be required
Preferred
Prior experience working at a start up
Prior experience with government contractors
Prior knowledge of CCPA, GDPR, state data privacy laws, and GCC high compliance,
Prior experience with Windows, iOS, Linux and open-source software
Salary Range and Benefits
Annualized salary of $110,000 – $160,000. Negotiable based on experience. Position will be salaried non-exempt.
The Company designates holidays each year at its sole discretion, and a calendar will be provided to employees for each calendar year, but generally most federal holidays and a holiday shutdown.

Bartlett Maritime Corporation (BMC) was incorporated on February 22, 2019, for the express purpose of supporting and assisting the U.S. Navy in the resolution of the capacity and
capability shortfall in the submarine industrial base supporting both new submarine construction and commissioned submarine maintenance. BMC was immediately successful and very profitable, providing shipyard-related technical services to an international client base. Bartlett Maritime Corporation was contracted by NAVSEA’s Submarine Industrial Base (SIB) via BlueForge Alliance, to ready certified welders for deployment to various shipyards as part of BMC’s Rotational Workforce ProgramTM (RWP). For the shipyard deployments,
BMC will hire welders as employees of Bartlett Shipyard Staffing Services, LLC (BSS) and BSS will provide the contracted welding services in accordance with the various statements of work.
